Hashmakers and the flower growers that serve them can get started growing the future at the 2nd annual Terpnami SF seed show December 6-7 in San Francisco’s SOMA District. 

The first Saturday and Sunday in December features the titans of terps on three floors of meeting space, and they’re focused on hash dumpers more than ever. From funky fruit, to savory garlic, to grapes, strawberry, peaches, papaya—all are on tap at the must-go show. Let’s dig in.

Whitethorn Rose Hash

Whitethorn Rose has put Forbidden Fruit terps squarely back on the map after an extended hiatus at the uncool kids table. Hashmakers Ay Papi and My Green Network will have the inside scoop on which Roses wash.

Humboldt Seed Co’s latest Garlic dumper

California genetics juggernaut Humboldt Seed Co has been laser-focused on washers these last couple years and are guaranteed to come with some serious dumpers. Top of mind for them have been a strain called Garlic Budder (Spears of Jah cut) with a 9% yield, they say.

Humboldt Seed Co is working on driving the hash yield numbers up for its Diesel, which is already hitting 3%. Humboldt Seed Co performed the ice water jar shake test on an estimated 1,000 phenotypes this year. 

Grapellicious from Happy Dreams Genetics

Mimosa and Miracle Vanilla Frosting combine in Happy Dreams Genetics’ hit cultivar Grapellicious. Happy Dreams Dan calls it a “definite farm favorite and favorite smoke of top Humboldt / Cali growers.” It’s testing at 31% THC with 3.6% terpenes. Also don’t sleep on the Banana Burger, Sour Lime Trop, and Triangle GMO which is “perfect for washing for ice water hash / rosin,” Dan states.

Live resin, Cured, and Fresh-frozen optimizations

Some strains like Jacks don’t wash. Others don’t work with static sift. The future is cultivars optimized for the extraction technique.

The northern California brand Casa Flor shined bright at the California State Fair in the extract category. That’s because they take a really unique approach to breeding strains for not only fresh frozen live rosin, but cured resin, and solvent hash. Their Purp Terp (Nor Cal Purps x Blueberry Muffin) x GovernMint Oasis (GMO x Gush Mint) is currently sold out on the Tangled Roots seed bank website. But we’re expecting fresh stock from them for the show. The line resin optimized Purp Terp (Nor Cal Purps x Blueberry Muffin) × Residual Sugar (Glitter Bomb x Good Greens Candy) won a Silver Medal at the 2025 California State Fair and took 3rd place in the Secret Cup in the Live Resin category.

Strawberry hashers from Purple City Genetics

Spawners of the Gush Mints and Moroccan Peaches wave, and many others, Oakland, California’s Purple City Genetics brings an exclusive, small-release lineup tailored to either flower or hash at Terpnami.

The standout hasher to watch is Daryl Strawberry—an indica hybrid that finishes in 8 weeks and is made of Strawberry Kush x 14 Bombers. It has strawberry bubblegum
notes and test over 28%. We don’t see enough modern strawberry or bubblegum terps.

Similarly, Strawberry Barbera is sativa hybrid hasher that finishes in 8 weeks
and comes from Peaches x Strawnana
Terp. It should be loud and easy to grow, and sell out first.

Papaya Smoothie crosses

Two reigning hash families—Papaya and Honey Banana—merge in CHA Genetics Papaya Smoothie—crosses of which will be hot at Terpnami. The parent strain yields 4 to 6%.

It’s not related to The Hive from Bloom Seeds, but great minds do think alike. You see Russel aiming for the kill shot with this hit list of Papaya Smoothie crosses.

“I’m shifting gears and going back through my lines to pick out the exemplary winners, and the Papaya Smoothie is a great example of winning genetics,” Russel writes.
