Let’s face it: wiping down your tools and accessories with ISO alcohol, which is the fastest and most effective way to clean and sanitize your gear, can be a pain. Although it’s one of those things you do all the time, it’s not necessarily an experience to revel in. If only there was a way to make cleaning with ISO alcohol even more efficient…

Introducing The Press Club's Hash Basket, this handy little accessory is designed to make cleaning your gear with ISO alcohol more efficient, thorough, and less messy. Think of it like an ISO dunking station.
Used to clean quartz and glass like carb caps, pearls, pillars, and any other accessories, they are available in two different sizes. one size fits all 1/2 pint, and the larger size fits all full-pint wide mouth mason jars.
Just fill your mason jar with ISO alcohol (not quite all the way to the top), place your dirty quartz into the basket, then lower the basket into the mason jar.
Leave the basket soaking in the ISO for a couple hours, then easily lift the basket out using the metal tab.
The Press Club's Hash Basket has all the features you need to make cleaning your quartz and glass a breeze.
1. Made From Food-Grade Stainless Steel - we're run tests and don't like soaking our quartz and glass in plastic so we made our ISO dunk station from food grade stainless steel to make soaking in ISO to clean your quartz and glass extra safe and sanitary.
2. Perforated Stainless Steel - perfect sized holes to prevent pearls and pillars from falling through and easily drain ISO.
3. Universal Fit - fits all 1/2 pint and full pint wide mouth mason jars.
4. Top Metal Tab - easily remove your stainless steel basket from your iso solution using our integrated top metal tab, easily remove the glass you're cleaning.
5. Drain Hook - when you're ready to drain, remove the basket using the top metal tab and secure the basket on the side of the glass jar using the integrated drain hook to allow your iso to drain and dry completely so it's ready for your next session.
Test Washing Material
There's another way to use the Hash Basket, which makes the jar test wash process even easier.
Not all cannabis cultivars make good candidates for hash production. Strains that produce lots of terpenes and high levels of THC don’t always have the characteristics to make great starter material for ice water extraction. While the scent and appearance of cannabis flowers may be indicators of potential hash production, even the dankest buds with the best bag appeal don’t necessarily dump loads of trichomes during ice water extraction.
Shaking a few grams of flower in a sealed mason jar with cold water lets you get a great visual of the amount of trichomes released. Using this test is a great indicator of how the cultivar will perform in a full ice water extraction process.
Doing this process with a Hash Basket inserted inside a mason jar helps contain the cannabis flower inside the basket while the trichomes can slip through and settle to the bottom of the jar.
