Founded in 2005, SKUNK magazine has been a staple of cannabis news and culture for years. Covering various aspects of the industry, SKUNK has been informing and entertaining cannabis enthusiasts since well before cannabis was as mainstream as it is today. A truly pioneering publication, SKUNK magazine continues to distribute cannabis news, politics, activism, and insights into the proliferation of cannabis culture. 

From strain reviews and cultivation techniques to interviews with key figures in the cannabis community, the magazine covers a wide range of topics. Over the years, SKUNK has contributed to the normalization of cannabis and its acceptance in mainstream society. As the legal landscape of cannabis has changed drastically in the last decade, SKUNK has evolved alongside it. 

When we were young, all of us at The Press Club would religiously go to the local book store waiting in anticipation for the latest issue of SKUNK magazine to drop.

The magazine was our way of learning everything we didn’t know about this beautiful plant and what it has to offer while connecting with those in the community who were just as passionate about the cannabis plant and its therapeutic potential as we were. 

Fast-forward a few decades later, and we received an email from SKUNK magazine’s Editor-In-Chief to ask if we would be willing to contribute our hash knowledge to the Winter 2023/2024 issue commemorating the work of the Hash Queen, Mila Jansen @milahashqueen. Seriously?! We were floored!

To be simply mentioned next to such a trailblazer and well-respected industry leader, we’re beyond humbled for the opportunity and we’re still pinching ourselves to make sure this isn’t a dream.
